Texas Beta Student Aid Fund of Beta Theta Pi P.O. Box 442100 Lawrence, KS 66044-2100 Address Service Requested BETA CHRONICLE Beta Omicron Chapter of Beta Theta Pi at the University of Texas Meet Beta Omicron's Executive Board VP Communication Blaine Peters '16, Austin, Texas My name is Blaine Peters and I'm honored to serve as vice president of communications for the Beta Omicron colony. I've always been involved in the Greek community here through my friends, but never really felt a true connection with my values and beliefs until Beta came marching along. I'm excited for our future at UT and look forward to great times ahead! VP Recruitment Alex Blackburn '16, Austin, Texas atblackburn@utexas.edu My name is Alexander Blackburn, vice president of recruitment for the Beta Omicron founding father class at the University of Texas. I chose Beta because I saw an opportunity to leave a positive influence on an organization that will last for generations, and am excited to see the many ways our class as a whole will ensure the prosperity of the Beta Omicron Chapter of Beta Theta Pi. VP Finance David Mgeryan '16, Los Angeles, Calif. My name is David Mgeryan and I have the great honor of serving as VP of finance for the Beta Omicron Chapter. From the get go, Beta to me has been first and foremost about brotherhood. It allowed for me to uphold the values that I was brought up with, which were to strive to be a better man and to help my surrounding community in doing so. We at Beta Omicron are doing great things at the University of Texas, and we hope you are just as excited as we are for our future. VP Programming JP Sargent '16, San Antonio, Texas My name is John-Paul Sargent and I have the distinct honor of being VP of programming for the reestablished Beta Omicron Chapter. I often find myself surprised at the notion that I am now a Fraternity man. Furthermore, with difficulties related to the task we have undertaken, I sometimes feel anxious and doubtful for our future. Yet, in looking at the men we have collected and the brotherhood that is forming, I am sure we are going to go far and I am filled with pride to be a Beta. VP Education Matei Panturu '16, Fort Worth, Texas My name is Matei Panturu and I am serving as the first vice president of education for Beta Omicron colony. We live in an age where our technology and culture keep us so interconnected that we are in the position to showcase the worth of the Greek community, but that starts with instilling our core values in each member. VP Brotherhood Jarvis Brewer '16, Corsicana, Texas My name is Jarvis Brewer, vice president of brotherhood for the Beta Omicron Chapter. I am a father, a veteran, and a proud Beta. I chose Beta Theta Pi because I saw the Fraternity as an opportunity to surround myself with others who also desire to be the best versions of themselves. We are reestablishing something amazing at the University of Texas, and I am honored to be a part of it. VP Risk Management Zach Shepard '16, Cypress, Texas My name is Zach Shepard, and it is with great honor that I find myself serving as the inaugural vice president of risk management for the Beta Omicron Chapter. I look forward to serving our Chapter as best I can and building a bridge for future brothers. Go Beta!
