Quartzsite, AZ - There is a small group of seniors, both male and female, who play softball in the park weekly. The baseball fi eld is located at Quartzsite Town Park, near the Community Center, off Senter. The age group varies from 60 years to 80 years, however there's a 92- year-old lady who participates also! The seniors gather at 1pm on Tuesdays and play for about an hour. There's no talent necessary, so all are welcome. Come join the fun and get out there and PLAY BALL! Feb. 4, 6pm Quartzsite Police Chief Ernie Ren- fro invites all residents of the Town of Quartzsite to attend and discuss establishing Neighborhood Watch at 6:00 PM, on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2016, at the Town of Quartzsite Community Center. "The QPD would like to coordinate and establish small neighborhood groups with a representative to communicate to the police depart- ment about the activities of your neighborhood," said Renfro. He said he hopes to bring each Neigh- borhood Watch group together with QPD Offi cers and encourage others to participate in Neighbor- hood Watches to protect life and property."
