With cooling tempera- tures, we are delaying our start until 10:00. The best chipper by far for the day was Robert Barnard. He was in a groove that only Montanians will understand. His phenomenal chipping carried him and Jerry Taylor to a first place finish for the day with a score of 37. Dean Har- rington also had an outstanding day of chipping with his partner, Russ Leininger. They tied with Joe McWIlliams and Gene Howard for 2nd place with a team score of 38. Dino Linden and Brad Romaine fired a 40, followed closely by the team of Robert Webb and Curtis Winkler with a 41, and Tom Chop- ski and Mac McClean on their heels with a score of 42. Long drive winner on hole #13 were Chester Henry and Joe McWilliams. Clos- est to the pin on hole #8 was Mac McClean and Russ Leininger was closest on #9. We always hope to see some new faces for our tournaments. Our January dates are Friday, .Jan. 15 and 22. We will start at 10:00 sharp.
