I wish to thank the Business Chamber for all the work they did in putting the show on. There was a wonderful selection of products from jewelry, wood- working, handmade kitchen items, clothing, fi ne art and everything in between. If you missed it this year, make a note and join in the fun for next year. For all those who braved the chilly weather and walked out with fun purchases, thank you for com- ing. Mr Scott, also a big thank you for all you do for the Community, and the use of your building is greatly appreciated. Merry Christmas to all, Mary Huntley DON'T CONDEMN THE RICH Most people who are rich are happy. They got rich with a happy mind fi rst; then the wealth came. A happy mind is a creative mind. It thinks and creates happy thoughts that brings on more creative ideas that make people rich. Not only with money, but health and more ideas. There are no ifs and buts or what ifs this could happen or that. Happy positive thoughts create more happiness As I write this, I think about my parents. I never heard nega- tive thoughts about themselves or others or situations. They took the next step and did what they could. They listened to good music and kept a healthy attitude. They just kept on being happy people doing what they had to do. Try it; you might change the whole town! Pat Meissner Quartzsite THANKSGIVING GRATITUDE The Alliance Church wants to thank everyone that came out to the Thanksgiving Eve Celebration. To all the businesses that donated pies, to both Philip Cushman and Mayor Foster for serving those pies, to all our volunteers who helped work in the background, to the QIA who hosted it, the Little Sister who preformed and everyone who donated both can food and money, thank you for your support. As a community we raised a total $502 in one night, plus two boxes of canned food for the Friend's of the Food Bank.
