7 Chi Zetagram Chamber of Commerce. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Miriam, and his four children. John Wilson "Bill" Trumbull '49 X597 passed away November 28, 2014. He was married for 62 years to Barbara Marie Wright Trumbull. During his career, Bill owned and managed Trumbull Electric, was general manager of Horton Electric Construction, and supervisor for Pinner Electric. He was a long-time member of the Suburban Veterans Chorus and the Keynotes Quartet in Maywood, and sang with the Suncoast Chorale and Encore Chorus. Bill is survived by his wife, Barbara, three children, 11 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. R. D. Tebben '66 X867 passed away on December 12, 2008, at the age of 62. Dave graduated in 1968 with a bachelor of science in finance. He first worked as a district sales manager representative for Pekin Insurance and later purchased the Kelly Insurance Agency. Dave was a member of the national faculty for the Agency Management for the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors, past faculty member at both Eureka College and Illinois Central College, and served on the Pekin City Council as commissioner of public health and safety. In 1995, 1999, and 2007, he was elected mayor. He was a past president and ex-officio member of the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce board of directors. He is survived by three daughters, three grandchildren, and two sisters. ALUMNI NEWS James F. Hannagan '49 X602 has been the advisor of University of Michigan Executive Program from the past three years. He lives in Bloomfield, Mich., and is a captain in the U.S. Navy. Richard F. Schaller '71 X951 and his wife, Jill, are retired and living in the Phoenix area. He does part-time engineering consulting through his LLC, while also building and flying airplanes as a hobby. His latest creation was a two-seater sport airplane. He has worked at Carle Urbana for 23 years, was a founding member board member of the Illinois Association of Advance Practice Nursing, and the board's former president. Robert P. Bryan '75 X1032 has been the warehouse manager for Prairie Gardens Inc., for 21 years. He received his master's of divinity in 2004 from the Luthernan School of eology in Chicago, Ill. Robert was a parish pastor in northeast Nebraska for six years and then moved to Lincoln, Neb., in 2011 to become the director of prison ministry for the NE Synod ELCA and pastor of Followers of Christ inside the state penitentiary in Lincoln. He had been doing academic services for football with DIA for three years. Friendships formed or grown at Rumpus are innumerable. e annual festival has even produced nuptials and eventually children. Rumpus XIII, just this past winter, was another raucous, satisfying affair. Guests still counted beyond one hundred, but it's clear that we are parading through the event's twilight. While there are flashes, gone are the days of unembellished bedlam, but immortal are the moments we've made by keeping such a vibrant tradition alive and well. Unpretentious and sometimes unruly, Rumpus is just a word with a definition masked by chaos. It is the brotherhood that opened its arms to build and maintain a community that is willing to celebrate nothing more than itself. People who haven't attended Rumpus Christmas oen ask us, "What is Rumpus?" We look at each other with immodest grins, not because we're arrogant, but because we know the answer, yet haven't the faintest idea how to explain it.
