This past week our many Church helpers packed up all the food we purchased and collected to make it possible for the seniors in the apartments to hopefully have a wonderful Thanksgiving meal. We should always be grateful for the day and to have a roof over our heads, food on the table and fam- ily and friends are the best of all blessings. I have recently had a left knee replace- ment that has healed well but surgery was not easy. Soon after hit with a terrible stomach infection. During this time of recovery I have thought much about all my own blessings and real- ized that none of us are ever immune from difficult times in our lives. We are to " love our neighbors as ourselves " and to help take care of those less fortunate, at least that is what I have been taught and strongly believe in. Please take this time of year to remem- ber there is always someone out there that still needs help in some way. May we all remember to be the ones that can be that help. Thank you to my friends and to my church family for taking on so many of the things I have not been able to do. Maggie Ross Quartzsite Thrivent Action Team Projects update
