Head over to San Anselmo institution, Comforts, for picnic essentials. For mom, there is the famous Chinese Chicken Salad, which has achieved near cult-status and the kids will swoon over Chicken Okasan—boneless chunks of white meat dipped in teriyaki, then panko-crusted and flash-fried. Local moms have dubbed this 'kiddie crack' although adults seem to be equally addicted. e deli case is packed with an abundant selection of salads, sides and entrees to take away, all using locally sourced produce and meats." —Red Tricycle Comforts 335 San Anselmo Ave. (415) 454-9840 comfortscafe.com Imagination Park "Once your brown bag is packed, head over a few blocks Members in the News Submission Deadlines All Chamber members can submit business news and promotions for inclusion on our Facebook and Twitter pages and in our two publications, Network Success and Member News e-blasts. Adding to the quaint tratto- ria feel, fragrant blooms from the window boxes release their delicate scents into the dining room. e bill of fare is largely Italian, with a few fun twists: house-made fettuccine is twirled in a shrimp bisque and topped with plump, sweet Hawaiian prawns, and tiramisu becomes 'crunchymisu' when puff pastry is subbed for ladyfingers. But even simpler dishes, like flaky, moist griddled Mt. Lassen trout with braised fennel, radicchio, and tangy lemon emulsion, are full of flavor." —Michelin Guide Michelin Guide Awards Two Forks to Valenti & Co Restaurant Red Tricycle Highlights Kid-Friendly San Anselmo Businesses and Attractions
