Sinai Church Road, Shelby, will be holding its Annual Thanksgiving Dinner Nov. 26th, 2015, from noon - 2 p.m. The dinner is free and open to the public. This is the 14th year that the mission has provided the holiday meal for the homeless and those in need. Last year the group fed approximately 200 people and made several dozen dinner deliveries. This year, as in past years, a pickup service will be pro- vided for those needing help with transportation to the din- ner. Stops will be the same as in years past, and will include the Shelby Court Square, the corner lot across from the hospi- tal, the lower entry of the K-Mart parking lot and the Ramblewood Apartment entrance. Pickups will be made every hour from noon until 2 p.m. from these locations. Signs will be posted to mark the pickup sites. Home delivery is once again available for the elderly and shut- ins. For more information, call the mission at 704-484-8770. Donations are being accepted to provide funds for the meal. Development Director Aaron Bridges says that a $10 dona- tion can feed four people for Thanksgiving – $2.50 per person. Donations can be made by mail (P.O. Box 2090, Shelby, NC 28151), in person (206 Mt. Sinai Church Road, Shelby), or by visiting the mission's website at www. crossroadsrescuemission.org. Crossroads is a Christian-based addic- tion recovery program that has been serving Shelby, Gastonia and the surround- ing area since 2001. The mission serves 50 men throughout the year, pro- viding shelter and addiction recovery programs along with other services. Thanksgiving Dinner a tradition for Crossroads
