• Reconfigure the entryway and tap room to develop an
expanded recreational space that will serve as the
prominent social space in the Hall, thereby reducing the
wear and tear on the floors above and preserving the
improvements made to those areas.
• Dehumidify and remove mold associated with water
exposure, waterproof, and update the ventilation
system.
• Replace waterproofing measures (installed circa 1967)
over the underground structures in the north and east
garden areas. Address the joint between the building and
underground structures that has failed completely,
allowing considerable water flow into the basement when
it rains.
• Refurbish and update the décor of prominent basement
rooms.
• Relocate the existing laundry room to the second floor and
create an office for the chef/house manager.
• Replace the stove and oven, restore the pantry, and make
code compliancy improvements.
• Replace the boiler, as it is expected to reach the end of its
serviceable life in the next few years.
• Condense miscellaneous storage rooms to allow for
expanded restroom facilities.
