After dismissing a story Allison tells as superstitious, Max accidentally frees a coven of evil witches (Bette Midler, Sarah Jes- sica Parker, Kathy Najimy) who used to live in the house. Now, with the help of a magical cat, the kids must steal the witches' book of spells to stop them from becoming immortal. The movie will be held at the Town Park Pavilion. The Quartzsite Quilters will be meeting at the Senior Center on Moon Mountain Road starting the second Tuesday in October. We meet every Tuesday at 9 am until 3. All sewers are invited to join in the fun. Dues are only $10.00 for the season. Our first business meeting will be the second Tues- day in November (Nov 10th). Parker, AZ - The La Paz County School Superintendent, Jacque Price, is making public notice of the op- portunity for residents of Wenden El- ementary School District #19 to apply to serve as a member of the Governing Board. Effective August 19, 2015, there is a board seat available for ap- pointment. The board position runs through December 31, 2016. If the appointee for this position wants to stand for reelection at the next regu- larly scheduled election, the position will appear on the General Election Ballot in November, 2016, as a regular two year term, up for re-election in November 2018. The District is governed by a five-per- son board. Wenden Board members attend one regularly scheduled Board meeting per month (Mondays) during the year and other meetings or events, as needed.
