the lion's roar Officers Plan for Fall Semester NH Beta Focused on Improvement N H Beta has concluded yet again another successful school year. A wonderful spring semester has come to an end with a few great accomplishments to boast. Our leadership team has been working hard to prepare the chapter for the coming semester and I am excited to see all that we accomplish. Making Philanthropy a Priority NH Beta brought Paddy Murphy to UNH. During our very first annual Paddy Murphy week, we hosted a few in-house events to raise funds for the Children's Miracle Network. The week began with a wildly successful bingo night, followed by a dog day at the chapter house, grilled cheese with SAEs, and a celebratory bash to conclude the week. We found abundant success with our event this year and are looking forward to an even more prosperous week next spring. Campus and Community Involvement NH Beta paired up with the women of Chi Omega to co-sponsor a Derby Day filled with pastels and grandiose hats. The event was held at the Somersworth VFW, and we enjoyed a nice evening of dancing and great times. We are hoping to make this an annual event. Andrew Gibson '17, an ambitious leader, became our Interfraternity Council president this January. He plans to bring the Greek Games to life at UNH with a week-long event with the Greek community. Andrew also accompanied Matthew L'heureux '17, Kurt Straube '17, and Ryan Milgrim '17 to Leadership School this summer. Future Is Looking Bright We are planning a chapter-wide retreat with recently reconnected alumnus Jeremy Turner '97. Our chapter has not organized a retreat in a few years and we hope to implement this once again. We love the opportunity to give alumni a tour and show all that we are working on. If you find yourself visiting campus this fall, please come see the chapter house and the great young men here.
