MARCH 23 Joshua and David Michael Wolff The Wolff Brothers join forces on two pianos for their first joint concert to play the music of George Gershwin, Art Tatum, Fats Waller and more. Joshua and David Michael Wolff, Conductor of the Carolina Philharmonic, began their studies as classical pianists. As a teen- ager, Joshua was drawn to jazz and never turned back. MARCH 24 Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra The world premier of Maestro Fakhouri's original composition "Furia" & Beethoven's 9th Sym- phony, "Ode to Joy." "Furia" melds the emotional intensity of the Three Furies of classical mythology with the haunting and introspective themes of Francisco Goya's Black Paintings.
