F
or more than 150 years, the Psi Chapter of Sigma Chi has been a vital part of the
University of Virginia. Over the decades, our Chapter has set itself apart from
other U.Va. fraternities by producing men who have distinguished themselves as
scholars, athletes, and men of character.
Sigma Chi shapes men into leaders at the University of Virginia and beyond, but it
is the common bond of our Brotherhood that rings throughout the years. More than
anything, Brotherhood is what Alumni treasure most. Without this special bond, we
would not have been successful in continuing Sigma Chi's long tradition of excellence.
Today, more than ever, Sigma Chi plays a significant role in the development of
young men at the University of Virginia. All Sigma Chi Alumni can be proud of the
legacy we have helped create and the historic quality of our Chapter that carries on
to this day.
The Alumni of Psi have the opportunity to ensure the continuation of the Sigma Chi
experience for future generations of men. The following pages detail the steps to
complete a renovation and expansion of our cherished Chapter House at 608 Preston
Place. This project will not only restore the Chapter House for the benefit of our
current undergraduates but will also transform our house to meet the needs of future
Sigma Chis. Our Chapter's past is secure, our present is thriving, but our future
depends on our vigilance in supporting Psi. The Psi Chapter: Honoring Our Past,
Building Our Future campaign depends on you.
