Imagine if there was a global network of future-forward schools
determined to rise to the challenge of true 21st century teaching and
learning. Connec ng these schools would enable them to challenge
each other to serve and include every learner, to celebrate achievements
beyond just test scores, and to collaborate in learning about and taking
ac on on issues that ma er.
Future Friendly Schools is this network. It was established to nurture
student voice, global ci zenship, and environmental stewardship through
technology-rich and project-based learning to be er engage students in
learning and prepare them for life in a me that demands new skills.
We were pleased to work with the American School of Monterrey as
our first Future Friendly School, along with several public schools in
Alberta and Ontario in our founding year. Following the survey process,
schools receive detailed feedback on their strengths and specific
opportuni es for improvement in the next school year. We're looking
forward to expanding the program to serve schools in more than 10
countries during the 2015-2016 school year!
