How can we show governments around the world that arts can lead to social good, and get them more
involved in them? AYV held several exhibi ons of art work submi ed by young people globally. Two
exhibits were hosted at the United Na ons in New York City, at the Youth Assembly (a program of
the Friendship Ambassadors Founda on) and Humanicy Conference (hosted by the UN in partnership
with FAF).
Other exhibits were at Art Fusion (Evergreen Brickworks, Toronto, June 2014), Youth Day Toronto
(Yonge-Dundas Square, Toronto, July 2014), OCAD'S DEEP (Design Enabling Economies and Policies)
Conference (October 2014), Centennial College's Global Ci zenship and Equity Educa on Professional
Network (Toronto, November 2014), and at Interna onal Civil Society Week (CIVICUS, South Africa,
Johannesburg, November 2014), our first exhibi on in Africa.
