Adobe Youth Voices increases crea ve confidence in young people by
empowering them to use digital tools to create media pieces on issues
they care about.
TakingITGlobal's AYV team delivered the program with 80 partners in 35

AYV welcomed 76 new educators and trained them on how to run a youth media program. AYV trained
123 educators in total, and provided further trainings to 22 returning educators and 25 advanced
educators. In 2014, AYV also welcomed a new cohort from Brazil, with 9 new partner sites in Rio de
Janiero and 16 in Brazil overall. About 20 educators met for a live training followed by a visit to the
beach! The Brazilian government has a program to donate computers at many of these sites, while
AYV and these newly trained educators will work to engage young people in expressing themselves
with this new technology.
