GUZ BUZ 2 recent Greek Chapter campaigns is 23%. We must resolve to match or exceed this if we are to ensure excellence for years to come. In the coming weeks and months, you will receive details about our future home, including preliminary floor plans. Gamma Upsilon will design, construct, own, and operate our new home. Please contact any House Corporation or Alumni Association member if you have questions about the campaign or want to know how to get involved. Alumni who came before us provided the opportunity to join LCA, to live in the Chapter House, and to develop the enduring friendships we cherish. Now is the time to join your brothers who have already made generous donations and ensure that the same LCA experience is available for future men at NC State. Fraternally, Zeno Windley, GU 530 , Campaign Co-Chairman zwindley@aol.com Bob Newell, GU 791, Campaign Co-Chairman wrnewell@gmail.com $2.5 Million Campaign (Continued from page 1) in investment, Keenan's clients and projects nationally span a wide range and scope including the development of research labs, utility plants, conference centers, federal campus headquarter facilities, and a test track for the Army and General Motors in middle of the Arizona desert. He married Rebecca and they have two daughters, Caroline and Anna. While Mike was beginning his career and family, he lost touch with the fraternity, but when Bob Newel, GU 791, and Mike Gwyn, GU 735, asked if he would be interested in getting involved with the efforts to bring a new Chapter House back to campus, Mike's interest was piqued. He began to research what the Gamma Upsilon Chapter was doing to reestablish themselves on campus. "I first watched the new project from a distance to see if it was worth its while. I visited the house a couple of times as I wanted to see the type of men that the Chapter was attracting." "I have seen a very dynamic group of alumni that has worked extremely hard to re-charter the Gamma Upsilon Chapter. Many of the right kinds of folks have been involved—folks of good character, folks who can balance having fun and being successful in life, folks whose opinions you can value and trust. That told me that there was something here that's worthwhile. The Chapter today feels very much like the house I grew up in during the late '70s and early '80s." Mike believes that the prognosis for success looks to be very high, which is where his enthusiasm started. He is now chairing the building committee for the new Chapter House and he is pleased and excited with the success that he has seen so far. Mike chose to commit to this campaign because he understands that it is vital for the Gamma Upsilon Chapter's success to have a Chapter House in the center of State's Greek activity. "We are just getting started, but so far, everyone we have approached to give, to volunteer, or to participate in an in-kind giving capacity, has said yes, which I think is indicative of the enthusiasm for this project. We have a great deal of professional experience on the campaign board and committees. Moreover, and most importantly, we have people who are eager to see this campaign be successful. Personally, I see that the future of Gamma Upsilon is a very bright one indeed." Mike E. Penland, GU 781 (Continued from page 1) Delta Pi Circle ($250,000 and up) James W. Owens '68 and Katherine M.
