Make Do And Mend 8 p.m. $3 students, $5 others Red Dragon Theater Mon. 2/13 Hunt Union, SUNY Oneonta campus The punk rock group, based in West Harf- ord, Conn., has been touring relentlessly for the past four years. A media release said the band blends passion with melody, sincerity and intensity. The night, presented by the Music Industry Club, will include performances by Cattle Drums, Pentimento, Steve Layman and Ugly Throat. There selections will focus on Ottoman court music, following the Sufi tradition, along with Turkish Sephardic and Jewish Moldavian pieces. According to their website, the band will appeal to those who love blues, Motown, R&B, soul and funk music. Christine Lavin and Don White 7:30 p.m. 6 On The Square 6 LaFayette Park, Oxford www.6onthesquare.org Each singers, songwriters and storytellers, Lavin and White will combine folk music and comedy for the performance. She is a multi-award winner and found- ing member of the folk collective, The Four Bitchin' Babes. He has released eight albums and two DVDs.
