Group respite meets on Thursdays from 9am-12:30pm at the Council on Aging/Neal Senior Center. The program offers participants unique opportunities for socialization and a variety of activities not available to them at home. Respite Group Walgreens Pharmacy will host a seminar on Osteoporosis on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the Council on Aging/ Neal Senior Center. Osteoporosis is a disease in which the bones become weak and are more likely to break. People with osteoporosis most often break bones in the hip, spine, and wrist. A Pharmacist from Walgreens will serve as the Presenter for this seminar. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and to gain more insight on the symptoms of this disease and ways that it can be prevented through diet and exercise. Refreshments will be served.
