5 Chi Zetagram Chi Zeta Brotherhood Looks to the Future Academics, Philanthropy, and Recruitment Lead to Bright Future at IU T he undergraduate chapter had many recent successes and events throughout the spring 2015 semester. One of the most important aspects of Chi Zeta is brotherhood, and an event to highlight that was brotherhood bowling in the Illini Union with close to 40 members in attendance. Our hope it to host more events such as this on the calendar for the upcoming year, as everyone who attended had a great time. Chi Zeta Gives Back In addition to attending various philanthropic events put on by other Greek associations, we recently completed a canned food drive benefitting the Eastern Illinois Food Bank. Our goal was to collect 500 cans. Academics on the Rise is semester, Chi Zeta made great strides academically. e main system implemented was an academic plan where members get points for doing certain scholarly activities. We feel it has benefited participating members immensely. Chapter Focuses on Recruitment We have a new focus on recruitment for the upcoming year, especially given that there will be a new house in the future. We feel as though recruitment will be one of our strengths going forward. e new house, along with our values-based recruitment, should lead to a very fine group of young men in Chi Zeta's very promising future. Overall, the undergraduate chapter is at prosperous state with a lot of potential. We hope to reach as much of this potential as possible and believe that our future is bright. We wouldn't be where we are today without the support of our generous alumni. ank you for your commitment to Chi Zeta and Lambda Chi Alpha.
