While the original front of the house facing Lake
Minerva remains, the rear of side of the chapter
house will be remade. On approaching the renovated
chapter house, you will notice the addition of a
portico that will serve as the main entry to the Great
Hall. This construction will complement the new
roof, guttering and soffit improvements made two
years ago. This western facade of the house will
be refaced to match the existing brick work and
provide continuity to the lines of the house.
Basement and First FlOOr HigHligHts
• Renovation of all basement level areas
• The kitchen and preparation areas will be renovated.
• Creation of Chapter Officers wing will house the EA, EDAs and other officers.
• Bathrooms will be remodeled to serve this wing.
• Rooms will be combination study rooms and sleeping quarters.
• New vestibule will offer access to ADA-compliant restrooms for both men and
women. It will also serve as a weather barrier for entry.
• The living room will be remodeled.
