OK Alpha Strives for Success
I
am honored to lead Oklahoma Alpha. Transformations in the
chapter have us on a new path with a new goal of building a better
brotherhood and returning to what our founders originally intended
SigEp to be. The new executive board and I are excited to implement
The Balanced Man Program to its full extent by August 2015. The
program's focus is on sound mind and sound body to develop truly
balanced men. It will also help foster the brotherhood we desire.
This fall we competed well in Homecoming with an amazing deck.
The chapter put in over 12 hours a week on top of classes, and
that's not including our dedicated directors who put in many more.
We were happy to receive best song selection in Freshman Follies.
Our freshmen put their time in and began their SigEp journey on a
winning note.
Besides accomplishing much on campus, I am proud of the off-campus
accomplishments of my brothers. We participated in philanthropy
events on and off campus and supported our community with events
such as FTK, Into the Streets, and Cokes for Kasey.
It's great to look back at our accomplishments, but that will not keep
Oklahoma Alpha at the top. Now we must bring our attention to this
semester and build upon what we accomplished in the fall. The theme
for the semester was following through. We had a lot of fun events
this spring with Spring Sing, Greek Discovery Day, a chapter-wide
retreat, and our best Mom's Day yet. We were the host chapter for
CLA where we won a membership development award and sent 26
men through the Epsilon right of passage. Please join us as we strive
for greatness.
Thank you for your commitment to our brotherhood.
Fraternally,
