D avid W. Frayne '89 was honored to be considered and to receive the Mr. Phi Psi alumni award at Founders' Day this year. The Mr. Phi Psi award criterion is based on embracing and living the lofty words of the fraternity Creed. In his acceptance speech, David encouraged the men of Michigan Alpha to live and act by these words: generosity, compassion, loyalty, morality and spiritual excellence, help and forgiveness, giving aid and sympathy, and practicing moderation. "I challenged all our men, undergraduates and alumni, to this lifelong commitment. I challenged them to act in all aspects of their lives: on campus, with family, in our workplace, in our communities, and in our places of worship." David lives in Plymouth, Michigan, with his wife, Kari, and their three children: Lizzie (13), Julia (11), and Andrew (9). You can contact him at dwfrayne@gmail.com. Arthur R. Di Blassio '59 was given the philanthropic award for his strategy work with MAHC and other community organizations. In his professional career, Arthur most enjoyed the satisfaction of helping organizations get better in their operations. It was these key experiences that he brought back to Michigan Alpha during a time the chapter needed help in leadership and operations. Arthur was very humbled and honored when he heard about the award. In his acceptance speech, he spoke about his suggestions that might help others avoid the same shortcomings he experienced in his career; especially relating to giving back sooner—much sooner. Arthur lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with his wife, Julie. After five years of retirement, he is re-entering the workforce via consulting, with effort to establish a web-offering centered on Direction Management that is based on his years of business experience. You may e-mail him at arturo@diblassio.com. Hayden Schenker '11 was awarded as the 2015, inaugural Mr. Phi Psi undergraduate award and was presented with $1,000 to help make his transition from college into his next journey a little easier. The process for the award involved the undergraduate brothers nominating their fellow brothers and from that list the Chapter Advisory Committee chose the brother who most exemplified being a Phi Psi. Hayden is dedicated to his studies, his friends, and his fraternity. He is always there to challenge and support his brothers and is an advocate for change and growth. His sincerity and warmth, along with his personal drive, make him a natural leader within the chapter. The Sophon Phi Kappa Psi - Michigan Alpha House Corporation P.O.
