The youth at the Quartzsite Alliance Church will be doing their annual week of service for the people of Quartzsite. For the past four years in June, the youth group at the Alliance Church spends a week doing work projects for people all over town. This is a free service that the teens provide, but there is just one catch, we need projects. If you have job around your house that needs to be done that needs a little extra help, let us know how we can be there for you. All you have to do is contact Pas- tor Jeremiah Holcombe at 928- 916-9571 to schedule a time. This year's service week will be June 22nd-26th. Please give us a call so that we can help you and put these teens to work. United Blood Services, your local community blood bank, is asking for your help. Blood being supplied to the local hospitals in the Tri-State region has escalated over the past year and more sponsors of blood drives are needed. Currently, the local hospitals require approximately 13,000 units of blood annually, and the local area blood drives in our communities have collected 5,516 units of blood. We need more donors and spon- sors for Bullhead City, Fort Mohave, Mohave Valley, Dolan Springs, Golden Valley, King- man, Laughlin, Lake Havasu, Needles,Parker and Quartzsite areas. If your church, community organi- zation, school, or company would like to host a blood drive to pro- vide for the much needed blood for patients in our local hospitals, , United Blood Services will provide a "Bloodmobile" if space within a building is limited or unavailable.. For more information, please contact the local area representa- tive for United Blood Services, Ann Trilby, at (702)808-1629 or atrilby@bloodsystems.org.
