Mark Andrews of St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Hickory, NC and Captain Joel Shores of the Cleveland County Sheriff's Department. Emily serves on the NC Human Traffi cking Commission and has been recognized in Washington D.C. for her work with women and teens. She is the founder of Hope House in Gastonia, NC, dedicated to the rehabilitation of girls and women who have been traffi cked. Rev. Andrews cycled from the coast of North Carolina to the coast of Oregon last summer and raised $17,000.00 to fi ght human traffi cking in the process. He will share his journey in words and pictures and tell us how he came to be a part of the fi ght against this scourge. Cleveland County's Sheriff's department will fi ll us in on the local picture and what each of us should be aware of regarding this growing worldwide problem.
