Stop at our INFORMATION BOOTH at the front of the QIA Building - Friday – Saturday and Sunday Email: info@QIAArizona.org Motorists traveling along State Route 95, north of Lake Havasu City (mileposts 190-195), should be prepared for delays of up to 20 minutes beginning Monday, March 2 through Thursday, March 12 while crews remove guardrail in advance of adding a new north- bound climbing (passing) lane, ac- cording to the Arizona Department of Transportation Travel will be reduced to only one lane for both directions, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thurs- day. Flaggers will be stopping and directing traffi c during this work. Crews recently began off-roadway clearing and excavating activities on the $5.1 million improvement project. The work includes con- structing the climbing lane, widen- ing the shoulders and repaving the entire roadway within the project limits. Construction is expected to be completed this summer. ADOT advises drivers to allow ad- ditional time to reach their destina- tions and to proceed through the work zone with caution, comply with the reduced speed limit, and be alert for construction equipment and personnel. ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but there is a possibility that un- scheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule.
