Seven long-formed suspects were excluded from this arrest report. 2/13: Garland Smith, 76, from Lin- coln, AR was brought before a Judge for an Active Misdemeanor Warrant out of La Paz County Justice Court for Failure to Appear. 2/15: Natalie Dancer, 36, from Quartzsite was booked into jail for Dis- orderly Conduct and Attempted Pos- session of Marijuana and Attempted Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. QPD Arrest Report The following arrests were made by Quartzsite Police Department FEBRUARY 13 - FEBRUARY 27, 2015 2/24: Christopher McCoy, 20, from Quartzsite was booked into jail for Burglary (two counts). 2/25: Michael Killmer, 67, from Quartzsite was cited and released to the hospital for Super Extreme DUI. 2/26: John Knight, 64, from Quartzsite was cited and released for Simple Assault. 2/27: David Downes, 57, from Quartzsite was booked into jail for Aggravated Assault per Domestic Violence, Kidnapping per Domestic Violence and Criminal Damage per Domestic Violence. All persons included in this report from QPD are innocent of crimes until proven guilty in a court of law. The Quartzsite Museum is now on their winter schedule. Museum now on winter schedule AD ����� ������� �� D����� M�������� In Memoriam Nella Shaw Nella Jo Crossman Shaw went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Febru- ary 23, 2015. Nella was born on July 7, 1931. Nella was proceeded in death by her husband Jerald Austin "Rusty" Shaw. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and even a great-great-grandmother. Nella lived in Quartzsite since 1980 and had many friends who knew and loved her. She was always of service to others and she was known for her wise counsel. Nella had four children; Judy Riden, Farrel "Buddy" Rusconi, John Smith and Chuck Smith. She also had two stepsons by marriage; Patrick Shaw and Travis Shaw. She had 8 grand- children, 18 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. Nella left a legacy on all her family. she also helped to raise several other people during her life. For many years Nella operated the Boondockers Message Service here in Quartzsite. She made many friends and numerous trips out into the desert to ensure people got messages from their loved ones. Nella was loved and admired in the Quartzsite community. Her infl uence for good and sage wis- dom is how many will remember her. There is no memorial service planned and the body was donated to science. The family asks if you'd like to honor her life, please donate to your favorite char- ity in her name. May she rest in peace. Frank E.
