CARY WOOD '89 ELECTED TO BETA BOARD OF TRUSTEES
O
n August 7-10, 2014, over 1,600 Betas from across
the country met in Oxford, Ohio, to celebrate
the 175th anniversary of Beta Theta Pi. Convention
marked the single largest gathering of the Fraternity in
its history. The theme of convention was "A Celebration
of Lifelong Fraternal Brotherhood." Eight charters were
approved and many award recipients acknowledged,
including one Shephardson Award recipient, 45 Sisson
Award recipients, and 30 Knox Award recipients. New
Fraternity foundation directors and board of trustees
members were instated, including Purdue's' own Cary
Wood '89. Colony Development Coordinator Jack
Jajewski, Chapman '14, also attended Convention on
behalf of Beta Mu.
