The 600 mile off-road trail will go from Yuma to Kingman. Check out their new FACEBOOK page. The next Ari- zona Peace Trail Committee meeting will be February 11th at 10:00 at the La Paz County Park AZ Peace Trail The students of Salome High School have been working hard. On February 6, culinary and photography students will be heading to Arizona Western College for the CTE Competition. Students will be taking a day off on February 16 for President's Day. Both basketball teams have been extremely busy. On January 30, the boys will be playing against Bourgade Catholic and the girls will be playing against Gilbert Christian. As the basketball season is wrapping up, both teams have been working hard. They have shown much improvement throughout the season. Baseball, softball and track, start on February 9. Baseball's fi rst game will be on February 27. FBLA attended the FBLA Regional Conference in Phoenix on January 24. The students competed in many different competitions. Katrina Garcia received the fi rst place medal for impromptu speaking. All of the FBLA students who went had a wonderful time. After they fi nished their com- petitions, they participated in team building activities. FBLA State Conference is coming up in the spring, and they will be raising money to attend the three-day affair in Tucson. They will be at the An- nual Chili Cook-Off selling tickets for a chance to win an amazing loaded Easter Basket. We hope to see you there and more in the future! Na- tional Honor Society will be planning their highway cleanup day with FBLA and Student Council. Student Council will be selling cinnamon rolls at the Annual Chili Cook-Off.
