Flyers

holding
their
annual
Fun
Fly.
The
Desert
Flyers
is
the
local
aircraft
radio
control
club
made
up
a membership
of
a hundred
individuals
from
all
over
the
Unit-
ed
States
and
western
Canada.
This
year
represents
the
Seventh
Annual
year
for
this
event.
The
Fun
Fly
will
be
held
at
the
James
B.
Colwell
Air-
fi
eld,
located
at
780
N.
Plymouth
Road,
Quartzsite
on
February
12th.
Flyers
will
be
coming
from
Yuma,
Lake
Havasu
City,
Blythe
and
King-
man.
There
will
be
Warbirds,
Twins,
Civilian,
Aerobatic,
Homebuilt,
Sailplanes,
and
many
more.
The
Fun
Fly
commences
at
9
am
with
a
fl y
past
of
the
colors
and
a
short
opening
ceremony.
Everyone
is
welcome,
whether
fl yers
or
spectators.
The
Quartzsite
Flyers
is
an

cially
sanctioned
club
of
the
Academy
of
Model
Aeronautics
(AMA),
