T he Alumni Association is proud to announce the H.G. Menke Mentoring Program to connect undergraduate members with Chi Zeta alumni. e goal of the program is to provide important guidance and counseling for our youngest members, including career, networking and social growth objectives. Alumni have a wealth of knowledge and experience that the mentoring program seeks to make more accessible to those who can benefit from it the most. Named for Harry "H.G." Menke, Chi 1 and our first High Alpha, the program operates through a powerful online platform developed by Denver-based Civicore. Alumni and active brothers can enter profile information, which includes education, professional career, hobbies, and community involvement, and then find others with similar areas of interest. Seth Ellis '05 X1700, Alumni Association board member and chairman of the chapter mentoring committee, said, "Right now we are compiling a database of Chi Zeta alumni that will be a resource to undergraduate brothers. For example, if a graduating senior is looking to move to the Indianapolis area, he can look up a mentor to inquire about job opportunities or possible neighborhoods in which to live." Alumni may also utilize the program to locate interns or graduates to fill open employment positions. For a minimal time commitment, you can participate in the H.G. Menke Mentoring Program and provide guidance to Chi Zeta members. We need you to join us in making this a great part of our Lifetime of Brotherhood at Chi Zeta, by volunteering to work with our newest brothers. Please take the time to sign up online at http:// bit.ly/MenkeMentor or contact Seth at sethellis83@gmail.com. Upon submitting your information, you will be asked to complete your registration by becoming a certified Lambda Chi Alpha National Fraternity volunteer. is process is easy and takes only ten minutes to complete on the National Fraternity website. e board anticipates that the mentoring program will be fully active in December 2014; however, alumni are encouraged to sign up today.
