2 Beta-Chi Columns T he fall semester has brought great achievement in all four pillars of scholarship, leadership, fellowship, and service. With the leadership of Recruitment Chairman Chris Carlton '12, 26 young men were formally pledged this semester, and we look forward to helping them grow to become brothers of our noble fraternity. On campus we continue to experience great success. After winning first place in the 106th annual Best Ever St. Pat's last spring, we came out in full force this year for the 52nd annual Greek Week. We proudly earned second place this year, leaving the last four years split with two first place and two second place finishes. Nationally, Beta-Chi shines as we brought home another slate of awards last summer at the 2014 Leadership Conference. The Chapter received the Founder's Award for Chapter Excellence for the fourth consecutive year. Other noteworthy awards include: • Outstanding single community service event • Outstanding pledge education program • Excellence in scholarship • Excellence in ritual proficiency Scholarship continues to be a top priority for the undergraduate brothers. We achieved a 3.05 GPA last semester and remain above the all-men's and all-fraternity averages. I could not be more pleased with the successful direction the undergraduate Chapter is headed. We thank all of our dedicated alumni for their continued support and look forward to many more years of success.
