ΚΣ The Beta-Chi Chapter of Kappa Sigma The Alumni House Fund Association P.O. Box 31611 St. Louis, MO 63131-1611 Address Service Requested C lumns Beta-Chi house was unveiled. So far we are succeeding in this goal, and the new house takes the breath away of anyone seeing it for the first time. For those of you who have not seen it, please stop by for a tour the next time you are traveling to or through Rolla. One recent project we were able to accomplish was improvement of the road behind our rear parking lot, which previously was full of potholes and partially gravel. We coordinated efforts with the City of Rolla and the University and, by making a small investment relative to the scope of the project, we were able to get a paved two- lane street with curbs and parking on both sides installed. This will provide additional parking for our guests and members during large events when the capacity of our front and rear parking lots is exceeded. Finally, thanks to your help, we have installed a permanent mail box pad, updated flooring in the exercise room, added a separation wall between the exercise and project rooms, and in the addition basement, poured a 16 inch concrete slab to raise the two brotherhood booths. NEW BOARD MEMBERS ELECTED At the annual meeting of the House Corporation, officer and board member elections were held. I was honored that the House Corporation elected me to another term as president, and I sincerely appreciate the vote of confidence. Please join me in congratulating brothers Ed Jantosik '76, elected vice president; Rich Manning '78, elected treasurer; and Stephen Hoffmann '02, elected secretary. Additionally, Brother Tom Gredell '76 was elected as a board member for the first time. We look forward to his leadership. If you have an interest in getting involved in the House Corporation, please contact me. Thank you for your continued support of Beta-Chi.
