THE SHELTER
TODAY
T
o ensure Delta Tau Delta remains competitive, the House
Corporation invested approximately $600,000 into the
Shelter over the last five years to address some outdated aspects
of the facility. The investment was prompted by renovations
and new facilities being built by other fraternities. In the past
eight years six fraternities have undergone major renovations or
completely rebuilt new houses.
The structure of the facility holds strong today. The House
Corporation has been strategic in addressing the most critical
needs for the Shelter and worked within its own budget to make
improvements to the facility.

studying and as the lounge for hosting visitors.
The courtyard has a full basketball court, deck and fence. The basketball
court features a brick center court with names of alumni who supported
the cycling team during the 125th anniversary of Beta Alpha.
