ach of us, simply by our presence, has contributed
to the history of Lambda Chi Alpha at the
University of Illinois. How appropriate, then, that
each of us has an opportunity to invest in the future
of Chi Zeta. At the advent of this project, a small
group of alumni, many of whom you will know,
made early commitments and stretched their gifts to
demonstrate the importance of this project. We urge
each alumnus to do the same and consider a major gift
to the campaign. To help donors maximize their gifts,
the campaign is designed with our alumni in mind.
ADJUSTABLE PLEDGE PERIOD
Pledges can be fulfilled as a one-time gift, annual
installments, or by monthly payments, spread out up
to a five-year period.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
In addition to writing a check, donors can fulfill
their pledge with a credit card or an automatic bank
withdrawal.
MATCHING GIFTS AND TAX BENEFITS
ON GIFTS OF SECURITIES
If your employer offers a matching gift program,
your gift may be eligible. Also, gifts of securities may
offer significant tax advantages to the donor. (For
professional advice, please consult your tax advisor.)
COMMEMORATIVE GIFTS
Gifts in honor or in memory of brothers, as well
as family and pledge class gifts, are welcomed.
Recognition in such cases will be given to both the
donor and the honoree.
