SECOND AND THIRD LEVELS
• All of the sleeping rooms are planned for the second and third
floors of the building.
• Each floor would have one large common bathroom to be shared by
the entire floor, to retain a fraternity design (not apartment). Showers
will be like health club showers with a separate stall for each.
• A laundry room will also be located on each residential floor.
• The rooms are configured in suite format with one or more
separate and quiet sleeping rooms sharing a common study room.
• Rooms are close to the same size but will have various
configurations to allow for the personalities to develop with each
room. There will generally be four men to a study room with one
or two sleeping rooms attached.

"Many University of Illinois fraternity houses are struggling with maintenance,
codes, infrastructure, safety, technology, and amenities demanded by today's
undergraduates. The forward-thinking chapters have rebuilt or remodeled their
chapter houses, and even the dorms are now comfortable or even luxurious.
For Chi Zeta to be viable in the future, it will be critical to provide a chapter
house that is competitive in this modern student housing landscape."
