Tyson, Quartzsite, Arizona • 928-927-5808 Church Fire Station • Sunday: Christian Education 9am Worship 10:30am Evening Worship 6pm • Wednesday: Bible Study 6pm For free ride to Church call (928) 927-5808 QPD Arrest Report The following arrests were made by Quartzsite Police Department June 9 - July 9, 2014 6/11: Brenda Peterson, 52, from Lake Havasu City was cited and re- leased for Excessive Speed, No Proof of Insurance, and Failure to Carry Ve- hicle Registration. 6/12: Sulaiman Abdulaziz, 24, from San Francisco was cited and re- leased for Excessive Speed. 6/13: Rogelio Robles, 41, from Quartzsite was booked into jail for an Active Arrest Warrant out of Cochise County for Child Support Violations. 6/17: Freddie Harvell, 66, from Newport was cited and released for Reckless Driving. 6/17: Steven Young, 25, from Buck- eye was cited and released for Driving with a Suspended License. 6/17: William Kneer, 47, from Quartzsite was charged via long-form for Sexual Assault, Aggravated As- sault, and Kidnapping. 6/19: A Juvenile was cited and re- leased for Shoplifting. 6/20: James French, 62, from San Ber- nardino was booked into jail for DUI Drugs and an Active Warrant out of New Mexico for Possession of Dangerous Drugs. 6/21: Oscar Sanchez, 18, from Nue- vo was cited and released for No Cur- rent Vehicle Registration, Mandatory Insurance Suspension, No Mandatory Insurance, and Failing to Yield the Left Lane to Faster Moving Vehicles. 6/21: Provided an Agency Assist for the La Paz County Sheriff's Offi ce to conduct Field Sobriety Tests on Gary Stazy, 66, from Quartzsite for sus- pected impairment. 6/21: Cindy Cubas, 29, from Phoenix was cited and released for Excessive Speed. 6/22: Edwin Hartwell, 73, from Lake Havasu City was cited and re- leased for Excessive Speed. 6/22: Cheshire Sharpe, 24, from Phoe- nix was cited and released for Attempted Possession of Marijuana and Attempted Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 6/27: Jean-Pierre Hobson Jr., 23, from Mesa was cited and released for Shoplifting. 6/27: Eugene Stapella, 52, from Quartzsite was booked into jail for pend- ing Burglary, Possession of Stolen Prop- erty, Traffi cking in Stolen Property, and Eluding Police charges as well as new charges of Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 7/1: Zelda Watkins, 52, from Quartzsite was booked into jail for an Active Arrest Warrant for Threaten- ing/Intimidating. 7/2: Destry Yarbro, 23, from Ehren- berg was booked into jail for DUI and Criminal Damage. 7/2: Robert Jackson, 58, from Quartzsite was booked into jail for Two Active Arrest Warrants out of Quartzsite Justice Court for Failure to Comply and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 7/3: Ricky Duckworth, 52, from Quartzsite was cited and released for Threatening/Intimidating. 7/5: Hugo Ramos-Montenegro, 42, from Las Vegas was booked into jail for Aggravated DUI with a Passenger Un- der 15 Years of Age, Driving with a Sus- pended License, and Excessive Speed. 7/8: A Juvenile was cited and released for Shoplifting. All persons included in this report are innocent of crimes until proven guilty in a court of law.
