Pi deuteron today
t
hroughout our history, Pi Deut has consistently been recognized as a leading
fraternity on the Hill. The 68 undergraduate members, like many of us, take great
pride in our strong tradition.
over the years, the graduate leadership has committed to developing
young men into valued leaders of society by:
• Providing lifelong friendships and demonstrating the value of team over that of
the individual.
• Pursuing knowledge to lead a fuller, richer life.
• Encouraging the importance of service to the Fraternity, University, and community.
• Building men of strong moral character.
• Demanding excellence in all pursuits and activities.
the undergraduate men have responded by:
• Signing a 2013-14 pledge class consisting of 32 men from 19 high schools.
• Placing above the all-fraternity average and ninth on the Hill with a 3.08 grade point
average. The Chapter has achieved a GPA over 3.0 for five consecutive semesters.
• Receiving two Chapter Distinction and four Chapter Merit of six categories at the
24th Annual Greek Awards.
• Being involved in Intrafraternity Council, Rock Chalk Revue, Student Senate and
as class officers, among other organizations.
• Being 2011-12 and 2012-13 intramural basketball champions
and 2013 flag football runner-up.
• Focusing on attracting legacies (over a dozen in the past three years).
• Inviting graduates to participate in a speaker series with new members.
• Boasting Phi Gamma Delta's most outstanding senior. Matt Moore '13 received
