More Than $2.1 Million Committed Plans in Progress for Brothers to Move in to Chapter House in August The CaMpaign for Tennessee nu Sigma Alpha Epsilon • Vanderbilt University p r e s e rv i n g a T r a d i T i o n o f e x C e l l e n C e a n d s e C u r i n g T h e f u T u r e T he 2013-14 school year certainly has been one for the record books for Tennessee Nu Chapter. This year, our undergraduate brothers earned the highest GPA of any fraternity on campus, they welcomed 27 new brothers after recruitment in the fall, and they claimed the softball intramural championship. And while this year has been great for our youngest brothers, it has also been a successful year of fundraising for the renovations to our chapter house. Due to the support of alumni, family, and friends, the house corporation was able to collect more than $250,000 in cash contributions by April 1 that were needed to complete phase two of our construction. We are pleased to announce that because of this, fraternity officers will be able to move back into the chapter house on August 15. We have raised $2,132,992 toward our $2.5 million fundraising goal. We couldn't have done it without you! focus Turned to phase Three We achieved major renovations thanks to contributions from 729 alumni, family and friends, and we are well on our way to having, once again, one of the nicest Greek facilities at Vanderbilt University. We want to ensure the completion of phase three of renovations while handling normal maintenance on the house. We cannot maintain our attractive home if we do not have the finances in place to carry day-to-day operating costs and provide for our active chapter. Please know these funds will not be used to subsidize the house operations or the active chapter but to retire the remaining university debt and hold a small endowment ensuring Tennessee Nu's investment in the house is secure. Your support is still necessary For those of you who have given generously, I sincerely thank you. For those of you who have not given, we appreciate any amount you feel you can give toward this massive project. Every dollar counts to help us complete our minimum fundraising goal of $2.5 million. We're so close! all donors pledging at least $2,500 will see their names on an engraved brick at the renovated chapter house. It's not too late to add your name to the list of alumni, family, and friends that have generously supported Tennessee Nu Chapter.
