DDD Crescent News Delta Xi Chapter at the University of Missouri Spring 2014 Campaign Status At-a-Glance As of May 5, 2014 Goal: $850,000 Total Raised: $754,054 Number of Contributors: 255 D elta Xi Chapter will celebrate another milestone in the Honoring Our Delta Xi Sisterhood: Building for Another 100 Years campaign as we begin phase three of our renovation project this summer! Changes on the agenda include demolishing the annex to make room for a new parking lot and adding bedrooms. The basement and lower level kitchen were transformed into a library, study and crafts spaces over this school year's winter break. Last fall we completed phase two, which consisted of an addition to the west side of the house to relocate the kitchen and dining room to the first floor, creation of a com- mercial-size kitchen, expansion of the dining and lecture hall, and a new and improved patio. Alumnae and undergraduate members alike are excited and inspired to witness this milestone in the history of Delta Xi Chapter. Thank you to everyone who has donated time, effort and funds. It is so motivating to finally see our hard work and dedication become a reality. Thank you to 255 women who have already shown their support. I am truly grateful for your gifts. If you have not yet donated to the campaign for Delta Xi Chapter, now is the time! While we reached another impressive benchmark in April when we exceeded $750,000 raised, your gifts are still needed to reach our $850,000 goal. Now that our renovations are near completion—and the project for Delta Xi Chapter is a tangible reality—I hope every alumna can feel confident to invest in the future of our Chapter. Fall recruitment went extremely well, with the undergraduate chapter recruiting 82 new members. All the potential new members were interested and excited about the changes taking place at Tri Delta. I'm sure the poten- tial to live in what will be one of the finest Greek homes at the University of Missouri is just icing on the cake for our already outstand- ing chapter. As you can see, we have already made many wonderful improvements to our Chapter House! However, we still need to raise $95,946 to reach our goal. Please consider making your pledge or gift today. Our members can now gather for meals each day. A new buffet featuring our Delta-shaped dishes is lo- cated off of our commercial-size kitchen.
