fall rush is Underway
Alumni RecommendAtions Welcome

exas Alpha is planning one of its largest pledge classes in chapter history. With a goal
of initiating more than 50 members in the fall, rush captains have been busy at work
to make this goal a reality. My rush co-captain this summer is Erik Herrera '12. Dates
have for Texas Alpha's state parties are listed below:
Dallas State: June 27-28
Houston State: July 18-19
Austin State: August 1-2
Formal Rush: August 15-26
Along with these state party events, we will also organize weekly summer orientation
events for the incoming freshmen. We have local area rush captains in Dallas, Houston and
San Antonio to help with the process of finding the best possible prospective brothers in
their areas. We work closely with alumni to ensure that we are on track with our end goals
and have increased brother participation with rush, planning for a larger budget with the
competitive upcoming recruitment season. This is an exciting time in Phi Psi and we are
doing our part to form one of Texas Alpha's largest pledge classes.
We welcome and will act on all recommendations from alumni. If you know of a good
candidate for membership in Phi Kappa Psi, please forward his name and contact
information to me.
