Washington Beta Bylines A s part of our outreach to be more inclusive on campus, we hosted a formal dinner with the women's basketball team and attended some of their games. We plan to continue this trend with other women's sporting teams as well as various groups from around campus. On top of that, we racked up 786 service hours with projects like Adopt-a-Block, in which one hour per week a group of SAEs congregate to pick up trash and shovel snow for a neighboring block here in Pullman. We also partnered with the lovely ladies of Alpha Phi and the American Red Cross for the annual Battle of the Palouse Blood Drive. Our philanthropy Heartthrobs Win a Date was a success this year. We partnered with Alpha Phi and students bid on members of both SAE and Alpha Phi for a chance to win a date. We would also like to give a big Phi Alpha to Brother Pete Carroll, University of the Pacific '73, for coaching the Seahawks to victory in Superbowl XLVIII. This semester ushered in a fresh executive board including our new Eminent Archon Dustin Benson '16. Below is a list of our new executive members for the spring of 2014, please e-mail them if you have any questions or comments. On behalf of all of us at Washington Beta, I hope that you can visit us here soon.
