Dan Oliver '74 reports that after retiring from Baker Boyer Bank, he earned an associate of applied arts and sciences degree in enology and viticulture from Walla Walla Community College in 2008. Immediately following, he took a six-month wine tour of 14 French appellations, the Rioja Region of Spain, the Duoro River Valley of Portugal, Tuscany, Monte Carlo, and Gibraltar. He has been stationed at March Air Reserve Base in southern California for 10 years and will probably be moving to a new assignment this year. With some luck and hard work, he will be promoted to colonel soon. Mark loves the southern California weather and life with his wife, Kimberly. He has three step-daughters.
