Nan's original acrylic paintings are the desert around us right here in Quartzsite and Brenda area. Come see her display throughout the month of April. Thank You, Lorna Christman and Patti Tewalt for your help in preparing the extra pieces. Showing artists at local cafe Charles (Charlie) H. Bensel II of Quartzsite, Arizona passed away peacefully on April 8, 2014 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 66. Char- lie was born on August 4, 1947 in Wilkes Barre, PA. He married Gail E. Russell on April 8, 1987. Charlie worked as a chef for over forty years; many of those years were in Quartzsite. Charlie and Gail lived in Quartzsite for over 27 years. In Memoriam Funeral and cremation services were held Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Hollywood Forever in Los Angeles, Calif. for Dr. Puangtong Jutabha, special Quartzsite physi- cian. Dr. P passed away late af- ternoon on April 1st at her home in Beverly Hills, Calif. She had a massive cerebral hemorrhage on March 25 at the site of surgery performed February 21 to remove a large tumor on her brain. She was comfortable at home with her entire family and extended family members keeping vigil around the clock at the time of her passing. Charlie is survived by his wife Gail, 5 step-children and many grand- children and great grandchildren; a brother Paul Bensel in Pitman, New Jersey. In lieu of fl owers please contribute to your charity of choice in Charlie's name. The monks who were patients at Valley Medical Center in Quartzsite conducted the services where were attended by a huge number of fam- ily and friends from all over the world. Dr. P's brother, Dr. Subin from Thailand, as well as her son-in-law David Michaels, from Thailand, were among those who gave meaningful eulogies and paid tribute to one of the greatest physicians of all time. Dr. P transcended all faiths, creeds and nationalities, and we trust that she is at peace in her well-deserved rest. Dr. P. is survived by her husband, Dr. Onas Jutabha, Beverly Hills, Calif. and his two sons and other family members, as well as countless pa- tients who were also friends. Dr. O is in Thailand visiting with other family members now, and he plans to return to Los Angeles in a few weeks. Thank you again for all of your cards and concerns. Charles (Charlie) H.
