Offi cer Jason Dennerline, Arizona Game and Fish Department, ad- dressed the club. Jason explained the OHV safety laws regarding rid- ing two-up on ATVs and crossing Arizona State Trust Lands. He also presented Danny and Alix Abbott a plaque in appreciation for their as- sistance in applying stickers to over 2500 OHV brochures. Club activities included four club rides. On March 4, twenty-eight rode to Brenda for lunch at Buck- roo's for a great lunch; on March 5, fi ve of us hauled our vehicles to Quartzsite and rode the marble mine loop; on March 7, thirty- seven rode to Camp Bouse for a outstanding tour by John Bennett; on March 12, forty-fi ve from Bouse, Quartzsite, Brenda and Salome hauled our OHVs to Wayside and rode to a waterfall in the desert; on March 18, ten went for a short ride to Four Peaks then had a hotdog cookout at the county park with 15 attending; and on March 19, twenty-two from the Ghost Rid- ers and the Arizona Desert Riders hauled our OHVs to Lake Pleasant and rode to Crown King. Our next club ride will be on November 3, 2014. Our next club meeting will be held on November 17, 2014. The Ghost Rider website is: http://ghostriders.desertrail.net There are GPS tracks of many loop rides on the website that you can download and use on your GPS. The purpose of the Ghost Rid- ers is to work with local, state and federal agencies to keep the desert roads and trails open for public use. Our goal is to work on proj- ects which help our community, highways and desert and to pro- mote the sport of OHV riding with safety awareness and respect for the environment. Membership is open to anyone over the age of 18 who enjoys the sport of off-highway riding and supports our mission and purpose. NOTE: Membership dues are now $10 per HOUSEHOLD annually. Membership is valid for one year from January 1 to December 31 regardless of the date joined. Ap- plication forms are available on the website if you would like to print one and mail it with your check to P.O. Box 878, Bouse. Meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month from November to March at the Desert Pueblo Recreation Hall at 9:00 am. Come join us; visitors are always welcome. Club Rides are held on the fi rst and third Tuesday of each month. The rides depart from the LaPaz County Park on Plomosa Road at 10:00 am unless otherwise an- nounced by the club. Chanslorway for tickets, or you may get them from any church member. You merely need to drive through the Zion parking lot to pick up your dinner(s).
