Donor Profile chris edmonds, ΔΣΦ C hris Edmonds graduated from the University of Alabama-Birmingham in 1992 with a B.A. in political science. In college, he served as president of IFC for two years and was very involved on campus. After graduation, Chris moved to Louisville and contacted local alumni to begin getting involved in a local alumni chapter. He says, "The more I got involved, the more I wanted to do." He served as a district governor for Kentucky and Ohio, recruitment commissioner, and was the founding member of Chicagoland and NYC Area Alumni Associations of Delta Sigma Phi. "The fraternity taught me a lot about a world I would never have known existed," Chris adds. He served as vice president of Grand Council from 2005 to 2009 and national president of Delta Sigma Phi from 2009 to 2013. Professionally, Chris has been successful as the senior vice president for financial markets at the Intercontinental Exchange Group. He is focused on the FSPAC mission and hopes to see CHIA passed to keep Greek facilities competitive. He and his wife have two children and live in Chicago. You can contact Chris at chris.edmonds@theice.com. In a short period of time, FSPAC has become the nation's largest PAC dedicated to higher education and student rights' issues. In the last election cycle, we were in the top 10% of all non-connected PACs in terms of total fundraising. FSPAC succeeds because it has the backing of so many national fraternity and sorority leaders. In years past, an extraordinarily high percentage of national presidents, board members (for fraternities, sororities, foundations and national house corporations), executive directors and professional staffers have contributed to the FSPAC. In 2014, we are again hoping you and the other leaders of your organization will take time to become a FSPAC supporter. The FSPAC Board of Directors recently adopted new donor recognition levels that consider both the total dollars raised by each organization and the level of support given by each organization's leadership and its members. Platinum Level • 100% of all governing boards from the organization support the FSPAC (fraternity board, foundation boards, and national house corporation board, if one exists) with a minimum gift of $100 per board member. • Gifts from all members of the organization total at least $10,000 per Congressional cycle (or $5,000 during the first year of the cycle). • Additional gifts totaling at least $1,000 per cycle for the Independent Expenditure Account (or $500 during the first year of the cycle). These donations may be contributed by either individuals or corporations identifiable to the specific organization (for example, local house corporation boards or even your national organization). gold Level • 100% of at least one of the organization's governing boards supports the FSPAC with a minimum gift of $100 per board member. • Gifts from all members of the organization total at least $10,000 per Congressional cycle (or $5,000 during the first year of the cycle). • Additional gifts totaling at least $500 per cycle for the Independent Expenditure Account (or $250 during the first year of the cycle). These donations may be contributed by either individuals or corporations identifiable to the specific organization. silver Level • 100% of at least one of the organization's governing boards supports the FSPAC with a minimum gift of $100 per board member. • Gifts from all members of the organization total at least $5,000 per Congressional cycle (or $2,500 during the first year of the cycle).
