The featured Speaker and au- thor is Alfredo Acosts Figueroa, who will speak about the Intaglios and Kokopilli along with other desert drawings of different tribes in our area. Author of Ancient Footprints of the Colorado River, Figueroa will share his knowledge of ancient markings along the Colorado River area. Alfredo Acosta Figueroa is one of the Chemehuevi Tribal Monitors of the sacred sites. He is the Elder/Historian/Coordinator of La Cuna de Aztlán Sacred Sites Protection Circle and a member of Californians for Renewable Energy (CARE) and resides in Blythe, Calif.
