Have I opened my Bible to read these verses?—How many times? b. Am I familiar with these instructions of the Holy Spirit given through the pen of Paul? d. These 2 ¼ pages include teachings on: 1) God's will for man 2) Christ as our only mediator 3) Women's roles in public worship 4) Qualifications of elders and deacons 5) Church organization C. Is my understanding of these topics important? II. "I should be willing to open---A door." open---A door." A. There are times when I must be willing to open the door leading into the house of a stranger---Or through the door of a brother or sister in Christ who is struggling B. I should be willing to open the door to my home---To those willing to study God's word…The results can transform lives! III. "I should be willing to open---My heart." open---My heart." A. Open my heart to the plight of the lost--- Read Romans 10:1-3 B. Question---Does God expect us to possess biblical knowledge about Him and His will for us?--- Read Hosea 4:6---"You have rejected knowledge…" C. Have I opened my heart to the lost of today?-Is it "my heart's desire that they may be saved?" 1. Are many still trying to save themselves? 2. Is godly knowledge still lacking? IV. Conclusion A. Our goal---Continued transformation as we mature further in God's word B. Our goal---A single body with a shared purpose--Reaching heaven and taking all we can C. These goals are possible--If we are willing to 1.Open our Bibles 2.Open doors 3.Open our hearts D. In so doing---We will indeed be a congregation of doers E.
