Alpha Nu
100th Anniversary
Celebration a Success
(Continued from page 1)
The anniversary weekend reached a culmination during the banquet
held in the recently renovated Union Ballroom. After a delicious
buffet spread, the pledge class of 2017 emerged victorious from the
singing competition finals for their enchanting performances of "Beta
Sweetheart" and "Afternoon Delight." It appears the concept of "Beta
Gentlemen" still continues. Finally, a distinguished group of speakers
took the stage to provide their accounts of Alpha Nu history and how
it impacted them during their career and life development. Thank you
to all of the men who spoke so eloquently and who live by Alpha
Nu ideals and give back to the active chapter: Jackson Long '15,
Jerry Waugh '51, Bud Gollier '62, Bob St. Peter '81, Chris Reitz
'88, Chase Hamilton '11, David Catt '14, and Gordon Docking
'77. Overall, the entire weekend was an incredible experience for
everyone involved and highlighted the illustrious history of Alpha
Nu. We are all lucky to be stewards of this great organization. Thank
you to everyone who made the event possible.
Yours in -kai-,
