k. brunini d e s i g n e r pro f il e Designing for the confident bride who knows what she wants, Brunini's creations are a stunning combination of classicism and innovation, an alchemy of soul and science. "I design for the woman who wants to wear something uniquely her own," says Brunini. "Sometimes it takes time for a woman to grow into that." Her clientele is often a mixture of brides with sophisticated tastes and women who want to replace their initial wedding ring with one that reflects who they've become. Both are drawn to the alternative styles she offers, but Brunini is especially struck by the awareness that Millennials bring to their choices. "This generation is completely aware of options to begin with. They are very savvy about the unlimited choices and are well-armed and informed." Savvy is certainly not something Brunini lacked in her youth. While still in her 20s she had several degrees already under her belt and was living in Europe, planning to be an architect. She discovered her passion for jewelry while visiting an exhibit of ancient jewelry in Cairo. "Jewelry is mini-architecture," she realized. One thing led to another and she ended up in Sicily where she worked as a jewelry apprentice. 46 W W W.theWeddingringbook.CoM
